Meet the Roaster

 

My name is Sara Schaefer and I am the owner of Kaktus Coffee. I began working in the coffee industry in 2017 and have always loved experiencing high quality coffees and sharing the joyous stories of coffee from around the world. In 2021, I left my humble abode in San Antonio, Texas, and moved back to Ohio to be with my family. With their encouragement and confidence, I began roasting solo.

All of my coffees are certified organic, specialty grade, and fair trade certified. Each coffee is sustainably sourced by me, and traceability is priority, so you always know exactly where your coffee came from. My passion is to provide you with conversation-worthy coffee and a knowledgeable farm-to-cup experience.
